When young earth creationists claim geology, or even paleontology, is all evolutionary, and especially when they associate any claim of an ancient age of the earth and universe as evolutionary, or darwinian, or atheistic, they are not presenting the truth accurately.
The concept of idolatry is often misused in Christian circles. While the Bible warns against having misplaced affections, the term is frequently applied to everyday distractions rather than the serious allegiance and worship that true idolatry entails.
When a Christian has a choice to show curtesy or not to, is there really a debate about which path we should choose?
